Brother Washington was made a Mason on August 4, 1753 at Fredricksburg Lodge #4 in Fredricksburg, Virginia. He also held honorary membership at Holland Lodge #8 in New York, New York. He was elected Worshipful Master of Fredricksburg Lodge #4 on December 20, 1788.
Brother Monroe was made a Mason on November 9, 1775 at Williamsburg Lodge #6 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Brother Jackson's Lodge dates have been lost, but he was a member of Harmony Lodge #1 in Nashville, Tennessee. An honorary member of Federal Lodge #1 in Washington, D.C. & also Jackson Lodge #1 in Tallahassee, Florida. He served as Grand Master of Tennessee from October 7, 1822 - October 4, 1824.
Brother Polk was made a Mason on September 4, 1820 at Columbia Lodge #31 in Columbia, Tennessee.
Brother Buchanan was made a Mason on January 24, 1817 at Lodge #43 ( It has no name ) in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was appointed District Deputy Grand Master for Lancaster, Lebanon & York Counties in 1824.
Brother Johnson was made a Mason in May, 1851 ( Date unknown ) at Greeneville Lodge #119 ( Now #3 ) in Greeneville, Tennessee.
Brother Garfield was made a Mason on November 22, 1864 at Columbus Lodge #30 in Columbus, Ohio. He was also a member of Garrettsville Lodge 246 in Garrettsville, Ohio. He served as their Chaplain from 1868-1869. He was also a charter member of Pentalpha Lodge #23 in Washington, D.C.
Brother McKinley was made a Mason on May 3, 1865 at Hiram Lodge #21 in Winchester, Virginia. He was also a member of Canton Lodge #60 in Canton, Ohio. He was a charter member of Eagle ( Later William Mckinley ) Lodge #431 in Canton, Ohio.
Brother Roosevelt was made a Mason on April 24, 1901 at Matinecock Lodge #806 in Oyster Bay, New York.
Brother Taft was made a Mason " on sight " at Kilwinning Lodge #356 in Cincinnati, Ohio by Charles S. Hoskinson, Grand Master of Ohio, on February 18, 1909. He was also Chief Justice of The Supreme Court 1921-1930.
Brother Harding was made a Mason on August 27, 1920 at Marion Lodge #70 in Marion, Ohio. He was a member of Marion Chapter #62, Marion Commandery #36, Valley of Columbus Scottish Rite, Aladdin Shrine. He was also an honorary member of Albert Pike Lodge #36, Columbia Chapter #1 & Almas Shrine in Washington, D.C.
Brother Roosevelt was made a Mason on November 28, 1911 at Holland Lodge #8 in New York, New York. He was made an Honorary Grand Master of DeMolay on April 13, 1934
Brother Truman was made a Mason on March 18, 1909 at Belton Lodge #450 in Belton, Missouri. He was the first Worshipful Master of Grandview Lodge #618 in Grandview, Missouri in 1911. He also served as Grand Master of Missouri from September 25, 1940 - October 1, 1941. He received the 33° on October 19, 1945. He was made an Honorary Grand Master of DeMolay on May 18, 1959.
Brother Ford was made a Mason on May 18, 1951 at Columbia Lodge #3 in Washington, D.C. This was as a courtesy for Malta Lodge #465 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He received the 33° on September 26, 1962. He was made an Honorary Grand Master of DeMolay in April, 1975.
In addition to the individuals listed above, Lyndon B. Johnson was initiated into the first degree of Freemasonry – "Entered Apprentice" on October 30, 1937 at Johnson City Lodge #561, in Johnson City, Texas, but did not advance any further and did not become a full member of his lodge. Also, Ronald Reagan was made an honorary Freemason. As a youth, Bill Clinton was a member of the Order of DeMolay.
